Amazing shoes! Must have them.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:17 PM) :

My guess is this is a man. Potentially a very slender male model. So pretty yet strong at the same time. Somebody told me you have a boyfriend who looked like a girlfriend...

Anonymous Mery said ... (4:21 PM) :

Oh, this is so me-like, in my spare, most comfy time. And I might even look good..! Judging by this lady. A little confidence goes a long way.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 PM) :

I find it very disturbing what does she have on her legs. Light-colored tattoos?

Blogger ADJ said ... (4:29 PM) :

she's channeling tom sawyer in the best, most fabulous way possible.

From the feet, I'd say this is a guy.
Not liking it at all.

And if this is a woman, even worse.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:45 PM) :

i find the gender ambiguity of this photo mesmerizing. something special has truly been achieved here.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

I saw lots of trendy guys around 23rd street, u should go there

Blogger naillig said ... (6:28 PM) :

exactly the style that i love (and wear frequently) and wish i were thin enough to pull off

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:49 PM) :

OH it's he He looks great

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:17 PM) :

So sexy!

People are really concerned about this persons gender for some reason. Why not just enjoy beauty?

Blogger [paula poc] said ... (8:33 PM) :

Looks like a guy to me, and a brazilian one.

Blogger Kara H said ... (8:53 PM) :

Anonymous Susie said ... (9:59 PM) :

It is so refreshing to see more of these laid back looks... I was getting so tired of seeing the same "threw everything from my closet on" type of thing, which, I suppose doesn't really make sense for summer anyway. :) Regardless, I really love this casual chic vibe.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:32 PM) :

There is some serious Mick Jagger influence here. Look at that face and tell me you don't want to scream "Gimme Shelter!"

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 PM) :

In a fashion era that's degraded "sexy" into an overwrought, tiresome cliche, there's an in-your-face rebellion to this outfit that says, "I'm not going to compromise myself to please YOU." It projects confidence, an interesting person to know.......

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 PM) :

She is so obviously a woman y'all are crazy. Not that it matters? Anyways, this is is sexy. I like.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 PM) :

This is my future boyfriend or girlfriend, I don't really care which.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:57 AM) :

the attitude is relaxed and that's refreshing. but the outfit is borderline curated-sloppy, not feeling that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 AM) :

Love the slouchy, screw-you coolness. Previous comments have referenced Patti Smith & Mick Jagger, and I can see both at work here.

Anonymous mon sac by me said ... (3:16 AM) :

Beautiful hat !!! look too !!

Blogger The Theory of Style said ... (3:48 AM) :

One of the most artful images I have seen.
This relaxed elegance and powerful sex appeal is extremely chic in an American way, which indicates to me that American style has finally begun to shape a genuine identity independent of Europe.

Blogger Lipstick Sunshine said ... (4:44 AM) :

Androgynous and fabulous and well-captured!

Blogger MargaretBeth said ... (5:22 AM) :

I think she looks wonderful(if a little underfed). Attitude and confidence is wonderful!

I troubled over the photo for a while trying to work out if she has tattoos on her legs, or varicose veins! (Not that it really matters, either way.)

Blogger 34Chic said ... (9:51 AM) :

I love this sort of outfits. They are so relaxing...

Blogger Cristiana Nunes said ... (10:11 AM) :

Easygoing, cool laidback style!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:34 AM) :

C'mon. If this woman wasnt slim and pretty you wouldnt have looked twice.

Anonymous Michael said ... (11:03 AM) :

I can't speak for all men, but I find it VERY sexy when a woman incorporates male-style into her look. Likewise when an outfit appears to have been casually put together. Nothing is more un-sexy than a fussy, over done look. This woman is HOT!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:05 AM) :

I realize this is a woman, and while I applaud the look, I can't help but think that she looks like she's a gardener. Proportions, everything, just sloppy.

Anonymous CRAZY BEAUTIFUL said ... (11:13 AM) :

is this michael jackson?????

Blogger Stella said ... (11:53 AM) :

She's super cool - too cool for school. What's on her legs? Look like very faint tattoos..

Anonymous art deco engagement rings said ... (12:08 PM) :

I love the style....fantastic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:48 PM) :

what a pose! this is called style and either you got it or you don't.

Blogger Unknown said ... (1:19 PM) :

The real beauty of this picture is how relaxed and at ease she looks. I love it.

everything about this shot captures your eyes, the angles, the colors, the fashion, the spontaneity, and the lifestyle of new york. the potential of a camera shot is this

Anonymous Alexandra said ... (6:30 AM) :

hat is so wonderful. i`m fascinated by this look.

Blogger Lindsay Felsing said ... (9:31 AM) :

Yes, I thought that was Tasya! So effortlessly beautiful!

Anonymous Bohemian Design said ... (12:45 PM) :

Cool. Nice colors.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:45 PM) :

I dress like that all the time during summer months. Yet, the person in your photo looks laid back and stylish and incredibly cool and I end up looking like a slob. I firmly believe it is a fantastic look, though. It must be a je ne sais quoi thing.

Blogger lollipop4598 said ... (4:18 PM) :

Maybe she even does look a bit like a pretty gardner. My cousin does wear a hat like that when she gardens. There is absolutely nothing wrong with looking like a gardner. I would be much more flattered to have people think I was a sexy, laid back gardner then some trussed up socialite going out to brunch.

Anonymous Missy said ... (8:55 PM) :

Oh God I love this! Male or gal, who knows, but sex appeal that comes across in not too-tight dresses or low cut shirts or high shorts -- that's true sex appeal.

Blogger KC said ... (7:11 AM) :

i love this very cool and relaxed summer outfit.

Blogger Lou said ... (3:16 PM) :

I like it that we don't know what gender is involved - who cares and it isn't our business anyway, is it?(I can't tell, but I don't see an Adams apple) - the person is a great dresser and sexy as hell. Moreover, for very hot weather this makes total sense to me: they don't walk around in bikinis in the desert either. You want to protect your skin and at some point less clothing (than this) really won't cool you off more.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:12 AM) :

what a beautiful woman! love what she's wearing, and the fact that she can pull off what might be considered a man's style, but still look so feminine.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:13 AM) :

Is that tasya van ree?

Blogger NYStars said ... (11:21 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:21 AM) :

It's a mens world.....ain't nothing without a women

Blogger Sundal said ... (2:50 PM) :

this lady is the absolute spitting image of my mother (who by the way, is very beautiful). although she is a lot more stylish than my mother, who couldn't care less about fashion. I think i'll show this to her, to show her how wonderful she could look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:13 PM) :

ladies and gentlemen- the definition of cool

Blogger mama maria said ... (1:05 AM) :
