Most of this season's collections (Fall/Winter 2011/2012) are commercial, dull and uninspired. Some of them try at least to offer luxury. Uninspired and repetitive same olds, this is what I've seen, or at least the style-dot-com sellection odf shots was inappropriate.

Blogger R Orozco said ... (3:42 PM) :

I absolutely love this! Every season I am reminded why I love Bottega Veneta!

love the hairdos and the use of that marigold color.

Anonymous Caneel said ... (3:48 PM) :

These models look particularly masculine. I can't tell if its the angles at which the photos were taken, or if they all just have similarly strong jaw lines. Either way, I like the effect a lot.

Blogger Caroline Lees said ... (3:49 PM) :

Lingerie dress is wonderful. the last dress's mixture of textures not just convinced me

Anonymous elxoxodetuprima said ... (4:27 PM) :

Bottega is the new Hermès, definetely. I loved the lace stencils dresses. Loved how he brought the retro, 60ies look with such edge finishings and such unusual colors.
The last gowns didnt impress me much..they like unfinished given the sumptuos materials which they are made... But Tomas is still the hottest daddy in fashion.

Blogger Lauren Noel Bailey said ... (5:10 PM) :

The woman in gold, is a stunning image of beauty. If the definition of beauty within the industry could shift toward one of true health, how would our societal perception of beauty transform? What if we viewed the curves God created as beauty, instead of condemning them? What would beauty in our society be, then?

Blogger Genevra said ... (5:15 PM) :

I still have dreams about a pink Bottega Veneta dress that was in a vogue a few years ago.

Love this 60's-ish look.

Blogger Jane said ... (8:13 PM) :

I absolutely love that the models come across as so womanly: feminine and sexy in a strong, adult, self-confident, self-possessed, natural, healthy way. They look like real people. And they look like they are wearing the clothes, not the reverse, and that helps make the clothes fabulous.

Blogger My Heart Blogged said ... (8:31 PM) :

Blogger hp said ... (9:01 PM) :

Wow. Love the 2nd piece. Beautiful lace overlay on the bustier. Tassels peeking out of the scallop hem, topped off with lovely jewels on the jewelled neckline. Just wondering if the jewels are sewn on or a separate piece of jewellery.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:14 AM) :

That last dress is just fantastic--it's a marvel of engineering and subtle imagination (it gives the impression of falling off but is not at all overtly "sexual"). And the model looks wonderful--strong and healthy!

Blogger Sophia said ... (10:08 AM) :

I love these outfits. And the models are so beautiful. The first woman gets me struck with her amazing eyes and eyebrows with these fluffy looking hair.
This is one of the rare moments where blond hair and yellow as most important colour on the outfit fits.

The second outfit looks interesting and sexy without showing too much and I like how the yellow can be seen through the black silk.

The corsage-dress is simply sublime. The simple grey/brown with the big silky skirt. Not so easy to pull off in real life but still amazing

Anonymous proletarian Great Gatsby said ... (10:26 AM) :

Yes for black with gold.I am a little bit tired about the just nude look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:31 AM) :

finally... models with boobs!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:29 AM) :

FABSOLUTELY. some of my faves: the hairstyles, the flowy elegance, the color & material combos.

Anonymous agrogan said ... (12:17 PM) :

Beautiful runway shots. I love to see more roundness on the models!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:22 PM) :

Is it just me or does the first model looks like Brigitte Bardot a lot? Pouty lips, smutchy eyes... the deceptive french innocence. I like her face:) But the clothes are overdone and unpractical imo. And I really don't like the unfinished 'look' on the top of the third dress.

Blogger from the Lady Philosopher said ... (12:32 PM) :

Great engineering of corsetry. I love the raw edges on the second corset. It adds texture and paradox to the gloss of the satin gown.

Anonymous Sartor Resartus said ... (5:22 PM) :

Valley of the Dolls kept woman Palm Beach 1960. I mean of course the models look great and it's sexy but it's also not very inventive.

Anonymous dg said ... (5:32 PM) :

The second dress is stunning. Classic and edgy at the same time. The third is a lovely contrast in shapes and textures - the structure of the corset against the draping of the satin, and the contrast of the linen/textured top against the smooth satin. Can't tell if the satin is actually dyed darker in the folds - but it appears to be a theatrical showstopper on the runway.

Anonymous diaboliqueguan said ... (5:40 PM) :

That dress was made for Carmen, and I cant take my eyes off her walk. Isabelli looked even more woman in that fantastic bustier. Tomas Maier is the new Kaiser

Anonymous The Socialite Design said ... (7:45 PM) :

Wowzers! This dress is a DREAM!!! Love the different textures. Love love love! I can't always imagine myself in things from the Runway, but this....YES!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:15 PM) :

I can't believe the last dress, it is sublime. The corset, which looks like some sort of underpinning for another layer, (unfinished) with the very luxurious folds of the satin, with the dyed darker spots to emphasize the color of the corset. It has the effect of either falling off the model or else the model rising from the folds of the dress. I love it. I haven't seen anything like this, ever...

Blogger Sara said ... (12:05 AM) :

I absolutely love everything about the second look. The sheer lace over the gold and the fringe on the bottom are just perfect. The accessories also compliment the dress wonderfully. As much as I like the colors of the last dress, the fabric on the top portion just remind me of a potato sack. It's too much of a stretch for me.

Blogger Joanna Paulsen said ... (6:12 AM) :

Romantic, nice, luxiurious. Greetings from Croatia.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:06 PM) :

Isabeli Fontana is so beautiful, I wish she would smile more. She always looks so bored on the runway. It's like, you're hot, enjoy it!

Blogger la femme said ... (6:43 PM) :

Blogger Vanessa said ... (10:27 PM) :

I love these three looks!!! Especially the short dress. The lace over the top over the golden yellow adds a great sophistication to the dress and is a perfect look for an evening event.

Anonymous manchester escorts said ... (9:55 PM) :

These photos are sensational, everything about them - gorgeous couture and models!

Anonymous lilyrose said ... (4:08 AM) :

it's nice to see models >18y/o being used. not that i have a problem with young models, i just enjoy seeing egalitarian age representation.

Anonymous Mark said ... (6:04 PM) :

The last dress is the same as that Emma Watson wore at the final Harry Potter premiere. This model wears it better than Emma, though.
