On Line at Calexico, Prince & Wooster, Soho

I don't know if Calexico has the best food (though I hear it's very good), but they do have the best looking line in New York.

I love how young NYC is so into street meat. When I used to work in a stuffy finance house uptown, they couldn't believe that I bought gyros off the street... but then would keep coming by my desk because it smelled so incredible of course!

a nice name - calexico. mexicali is also a great name. these two share the border between mexico and california in imperial valley - you can guess which belongs to which.

anyway, i'm rambling. i'm just really happy to see more brogues worn well. i hope that trend is around for a long time (though it seems to have been around forever in the art crowds and in japan).
