Expertly done - seems so effortless. To think I'd spend at least a couple of hours trying on multiple jackets, cardingans, scaves....

Nothing new under the sun. I would love to see at least one person in the planet without wayfarer and alike glasses. With your glasses you show others how you see the world; with these glasses you are not showing anything. Maybe I have a bad day.

Definitely one of my favorite looks from Pitto Uomo.

Phenomenal! Is that three different tweeds sewn craftily together or was it woven this way?

regardless, the man has a very unique style. j'adore!

Inspiring. To think of contrasting a winter print in his cardigan that for me mirrors snowflakes with a gradient plaid blazer is yep -genius. The scarf tells me that this was all intentional. I love it.

Blogger notanymore said ... (6:24 AM) :

First I must admit that your blog is one of my favorite "No-French" blogs BUT perhaps for the wrong reason: because there are many photos and not much text ...

To me that does not understand English well, in good French that I am is a godsend.

Despite that, I must say that your photos reflect what the fashion is and it's what interests me most

P.S.: thanks to Google translation.

The cargo pants are a bit unexpected, but entertaining. Ironically, I've been in Florence for the past couple of weeks an did not know that Pitti Uomo was happening. Its a shame, I would have loved to join in the festivities. But, I had classes to attend.

Thanks for great pictures and huge inspiration.

Its funny because a close up of this guy was on GQ but it excluded his head, and mentioned that only Italian men can dress like this.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:56 PM) :

I love the pattern mixing. But the pants? Not so much.....The pocket placement just looks awkward to me.

Blogger Pam said ... (3:01 PM) :

A courageous ensemble -- so close to wrong, yet very right.

Blogger Nadine2point0 said ... (3:03 PM) :

Only a confident, stylish guy would put these patterns together and it totally works. I love everything except the pants - would have gone without the front cargo pockets. What footwear did he choose?

Blogger CW said ... (3:13 PM) :

Call me a traditionalist. I think that he is wearing too many patterns. The jacket without the sweater would work well. The sweater without the jacket would work well. The two together work against each other rather than contribute to a unified whole.

I do not like the cargo pants, but that is from a practical POV. When the cargo pockets are in the front, rather than on the sides, they are more difficult to use and it is more difficult to climb stairs, etc. when those pockets are used.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:14 PM) :

It works! I love all the colors on the sweater, shirt, neck scarf. It matches the jacket! Great contrast.
