I think I see you in his belt buckle!

Actually, I like this look...it is something I think I could wear, if I was that stylish!

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:46 PM) :

love the scarf

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (4:47 PM) :

lovin the belt. cool reflection...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 PM) :

very very charming, especially the jacket, its fabric and lapels.

but the combination of faded pant and taut fabric around the (unbuttoned?) fly is a bit distracting.

still, a great way to do casual elegance.

perhaps a palette of browns and beiges might have complemented his hair and complexion better.

Anonymous Sara Lua said ... (4:51 PM) :

Thought his shades of sea salt blue were great, until the belt buckle came into view under the page fold.

The reflection of artist is the gem in this photo! Like Velasquez :)

Blogger Alicja said ... (4:53 PM) :

Simply elements but final look is great. And the background, autumn in Paris, hmm... :)

Blogger X said ... (4:54 PM) :

the reflection in the belt buckle! and the beautiful greys.

Anonymous Julie said ... (4:55 PM) :

I love how the belt buckle is like a mirror, and the shades of blue are really great on him.

Blogger Commarrah Jewelia, ComCom, Qamar, CoCo, Moonface, ect... said ... (4:56 PM) :

Love. That. Belt.

Anonymous Indie Mom and the Reluctant Banker` said ... (4:59 PM) :

Great look, I like the sunglasses, the hair, the jacket. It kind of looks like he forgot to zip his jeans though.

Blogger Marianne said ... (5:00 PM) :

Hot hot hot or should that be cool cool cool. Like the mirror buckle..and the pink shades..

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (5:00 PM) :

I like how he dresses down the jacket by pairing it with casual jeans, and fun buckle, and the scarf. I also like the various textures he uses in various shades of blue and gray. My favorite pieces are the lapel of the jacket (no notch, or dinner-style) and the buckle. I truly dislike those sunglasses. Jorge from WPB

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:04 PM) :

Those are Martin Margiela jeans.. almost all of them have that "open fly" look. :D They are really nice though.

Anonymous Kelli said ... (5:05 PM) :

He's fabulous. Love the simplicity of his look: nice use of different shades of gray together-- although that Kentucky sized mirrored belt does draw attention to the fact his fly looks like its about to burst open (although I am sure that is just the way he is posing).

Keep on inspiring us, so we can in turn inspire others.

Blogger Lance Miller said ... (5:06 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:22 PM) :

I find the American Apparel ads on your blog to be a horrible and distracting juxtaposition against the beautiful fashion photography in your blog. Horrendous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:25 PM) :

The belt is fantastic. You can see yourself taking the picture. I love this. XOXO

Blogger Stefan said ... (5:26 PM) :

norwgeian! i love it :) -Arlene

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:05 PM) :

I like the blazer, scarf, and shirt combo. However, the belt looks like it came from a Walmart Halloween costume. The Sunglasses are odd, and I generally don't pair brown lenses with a predominantly black/gray outfit. Something about the pants is a bit off putting as well. They look like they're about to fall off.

Blogger a tree called life said ... (6:06 PM) :

i love that his buckle can double as a mirror!

Blogger Café Naïveté said ... (6:09 PM) :

Blogger Me said ... (6:13 PM) :

Love the reflection in the buckle, but really, this man looks so much like Heath Ledger that I was struck by a little pang of sadness.

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:14 PM) :

not a fan of those sunglasses. or the belt, for that matter.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:17 PM) :

Cool I can your reflection Sart takin his picture. Was that by design, or did it just happen that your reflection is on his belt buckle?

Beautiful European take on a western style belt buckle. And yeah it is a great jacket.

Anonymous Eloise said ... (9:40 PM) :

nice photo, beautiful blue tones bought out by the complementing oranges in the background, but he looks SO pleased with himself! Puts me right off!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:58 PM) :

Also agree regarding the American Apparel ads. Tacky, brutally ugly clothing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:49 PM) :

The belt looks like a Prada belt..

Nice look..very cool...

Blogger Amber Strehle said ... (11:49 PM) :

I hate to be redundant..but the belt!

Blogger Oddysseus said ... (11:53 PM) :

The belt ruins the entire ensemble and makes him look like a confused teenager who shops at Hot Topic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:02 AM) :

He is a Norwegian Designer! Nice look :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 AM) :

the whole thing is so trashy it's difficult to see why you'd publish this

A little too "Midnight Cowboy", no?

Blogger luckybastard said ... (11:26 AM) :

Tom Ford Hawkings Sunglasses...Always sexy.

Blogger CW said ... (3:13 PM) :

Nice narrow shawl lapel jacket. The belt is just a mirror-finished metal stamping, and not really interesting other than its reflectivity.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:22 PM) :

Love that belt buckle! Mesmerizing! Like following a fuel truck down the highway!

Anonymous Mens Wrist Watches said ... (8:59 PM) :

Anonymous Belinda said ... (12:30 AM) :

i don't usually post comments on this site, so sorry to be a bit negative when i do because i love the site and everything you do but... just no to this look! sorry but every item on it's own is nothing special and together they create a look which is just that.. also i abhor big belt buckles on approaching-middle-aged men trying to throw a little bit of cowboy into their steeze, i mean REALLY! Also, finally, before I shut-up forever, is he wearing enough blue? he looks like a color swatch tab.

anwyay, keep up the great blog!

(again, sorry)

love love love
