it's great to see that the male models have as much style as their female counterparts. loving the petite chapeaux of the 2nd photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:10 AM) :

the overall ensembles, messieurs, they're not adequately masculine for mine tastes. Je n'aime pas - especially the leather with the hoodie. Too many hoodies around as it is.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 AM) :

Ick. These guys dress just like our old I.T. guy who was one skeevy dude. I just can't get into this look-- it brings back bad memories of multiple warnings and scrambling to figure out server passwords.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

Love the look of the first photo. Black and white with some colour courtesy of the hat. Simple and cool.

As for the Catcher in the Rye
t-shirt I'm reading the book at the moment!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:54 AM) :

Ah, yes! You have to adore these lovely boys, especially the ones in the first two photos, with their twee hats perched jauntily atop their perfectly tousled fringes! They exude laddish charm, coupled with an innate (or so it appears to my eyes) sense of style and a penchant for simple but sweet accessorising. Go lads, go!

Blogger Annie said ... (9:59 AM) :

OHMYGAAAAAAHD CATCHER IN THE RYE SHIRT IS BRILLIANT.

Blogger Ling Wang said ... (10:03 AM) :

The last guy could seriously pass for a girl. His mustache looks almost drawn on.

Blogger Ryan Vance said ... (10:03 AM) :

Love the Catcher in the Rye tee, but... eh. They all seem a bit gormless.

Blogger toto said ... (10:06 AM) :

Anonymous Style Scanner said ... (10:22 AM) :

Yes, Yes, Yes to the pencil moustache, I'm a girl and I want one!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:34 AM) :

well, IMO, there are too many CiTR tees out there for me to appreciate the 2nd photo much; but his hair is great and & I wish there were more men wearing it like that!!!

Blogger Cypriotchick said ... (11:02 AM) :

i love that catcher in the rye T!

Anonymous lintmag said ... (12:03 PM) :

These waif boys are cute, but I would love to see some really athletic, grown-up sized men on the runway - sort of like that era of Jeff Aquilon - now that would be hot!

Blogger André said ... (12:11 PM) :

Males Agyness Deyns.

Anonymous Katy said ... (12:17 PM) :

Last one is most excellent. He is very reminiscent of Louise Lecavalier in her La La La Human Steps days. And Louise Lecavalier in her La La La Human Steps days = :::swoon:::

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 PM) :

The Catcher in the Rye shirt is from Urban Outfitters everyone; go buy it. The first pic is perfect. Love the jacket, glasses, hat, pants, and whatever that thing is he's carrying. Does anyone know what that mini leather case thing is?

Anonymous Emma Howard said ... (1:14 PM) :

These boys look like they were pulled out of English class to pose with a cigarette and penciled on mustache.

They cannot be over the age of 15?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:21 PM) :

Guy #2 looks great, loving the tee

Guy #3 How ya' dooin'? He's looking a bit.. village people.. love the hair though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:23 PM) :

I WANT THAT CATCHER IN THE RYE SHIRT! BEST BOOK EVER!

Anonymous Valentine said ... (2:40 PM) :

The styles are quite nice. In contrast to all the other commenters, the second picture just filled me with loathing simply because I HATED Catcher in the Rye. Purely evil shirt, that one is.

Anonymous Fashion As a 2nd Language said ... (2:41 PM) :

LOTS of personal style in these pix, which is such a pleasure to see. Of course, it helps enormously to be as young–and thin–as these guys: they have an equal measure of grace and gawkiness. Luke (in the last shot) is especially charming, with his white-blond hair and his knowing wink (the dark mustache). Few things make me want to be a teenager again, but these rascals make it look fun...

Blogger Lil-E said ... (2:56 PM) :

The third one isn't Luke Worrall?

Blogger Ashley Reese said ... (2:57 PM) :

I want the Catcher shirt so badly.

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (3:03 PM) :

The last one is Luke Worrall! He's one of my favorite. Nice shots.

Blogger Unknown said ... (3:03 PM) :

Blogger Virginia de la Reynares said ... (4:09 PM) :

Absolutely love the first model... MINE =)

Anonymous Anna said ... (4:11 PM) :

my fav is the third guy :P i'm not quite feeling the "catcher in the rye" t-shirt... it makes him seem a bit like a poseur... personal opinion

Blogger zincink said ... (4:27 PM) :

that facial hair is a tad extreme ehhh not really loving that

Anonymous Anni said ... (4:39 PM) :

Second guy is hot.
If that is his everyday style I want to marry him...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:54 PM) :

Love your blog but can't help noticing that all your photos are of stylish people with lean, fit bodies... What about the rest of the world? Do you need a good frame for beautiful, stylish, well-cut clothes to look good?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:55 PM) :

They are YOUNG men, free-spirited & extarordinaily wonderful-looking! Don't project your own issues with your own masculinity-or-lack there-of, onto them!

Anonymous Antonio Barros said ... (4:56 PM) :

1st guy looks really cool!

http://thesingular.blogspot.com

Blogger Nina said ... (5:01 PM) :

is´nt the last one the boyfie of Kelly Osborne?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:03 PM) :

yum yum! Did the first guy unbutton his pants on purpose? Do I smell a trend?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:30 PM) :

ok rather then critique like i was going to.....i will just be positive and say. i love the first guys shades.....thats about it.

Blogger kyle zeto said ... (5:34 PM) :

i'm not sure a t-shirt from urban outfitters (catcher in the rye) and a silly hat constitutes great sartorial choice. by some very pathetic looking men.
real nice check shirt though.

Blogger cami falcão said ... (5:40 PM) :

lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:06 PM) :

love the Catcher t-shirt. Urban outfitters I believe but discontinued. Boo !

Love the style of the two guys in the second photo. Very casual yet they're still making a statement!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:46 PM) :

the catcher tee is UO...
the best part is the hair.

Blogger Unknown said ... (7:47 PM) :

Why is it that "pretty" boys look so much better than "handsome" women!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 PM) :

The last guy is Luke Worral. His mustache makes him look weird

Blogger Diogo Ferreira said ... (8:30 PM) :

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (9:01 PM) :

Both pics show clothes that seem way too hot for the summer.

And not in a good way.

The pork pie Holden Caulfield guy is adorable.

Blogger a b c chick said ... (9:33 PM) :

I love the second one! His Catcher in the Rye t-shirt is sick :)

Anonymous Maxie said ... (9:36 PM) :

i cannot help but laugh at the catcher in the rye tshirt.
i'm sorry, but that is incredibly lame.

Anonymous M said ... (9:55 PM) :

I need that second shirt in my life!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 PM) :

TO EVERYONE COMMENTING ON MR. WORRALL'S MUSTACHE: IT IS FROM THE LANVIN SHOW, WHERE SEVERAL OF THE MODELS HAD DALI-ESQUE INSPIRED MUSTACHES DRAWN ON.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:09 AM) :

Yes, to be really with it, I think you do need a good frame. Who wants a frame that is not good? The definition changes with age, but who wants a substandard presentation. These guys are young and fun and beautiful, just like the best~!

Blogger seawallrunner said ... (12:20 AM) :

darling boys, dressed nice.

would love to know the full lettering of the third's t-shirt. love his necklace and jeans too.

So it's a drawn-in mustache, but is the mole a fake too?

Blogger Mel said ... (8:48 AM) :

Blogger beths said ... (8:58 AM) :

Way too precious, boys and girls! They need lessons from the man in "So Simple, So Perfect, Paris." BUT it's always fun to see what's going on--that's for the views, M. Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

also the mustache was a part of the spring 2010 lanvin men's show

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:31 PM) :

Are Matthew Hitt and Rogier Bosschaart in the second?

Lyle in the first pic is rocking a custom Yestadt Millinery prrk pie hat!!! Love it!

www.yestadtmillinery.com

Anonymous Scoob said ... (8:48 PM) :

Though both models are handsome, I don't usually 'prefer' the looks of either Lyle (photo 1), nor Luke (photo 3) as-is, however, it is truly amazing what great photography and great style can do for appearance.

I like both of their looks here. Lyle's facial expression, tuft of hair, outfit color, and combination - they all work together here.

At first glance, Luke looks pretty hot here; I had never heard of him before, and when I googled his images, I didn't think he looked quite as good as he does here. I like the moustache and style, straight down to the leather hoodie.

Blogger NIGEL NO TRENDS said ... (4:24 AM) :

Gush!

Blogger NDutil said ... (8:29 AM) :

Catcher and the Rye T shirt. If it was mine, that's all I would ever wear.

Anonymous Isobel said ... (10:19 PM) :

Catcher IN the Rye. You fashionistas are such illiterates. And I unapologetically prefer these guys to macho Gerard Butler-types (yuck).

Blogger Make it Easy said ... (1:04 AM) :

THEM CUTE

Blogger HeidiRob said ... (3:10 PM) :

First guy is Eric Lodwick - think he goes by "Lyle" as a model. He's so effortlessly cool.

Anonymous Native said ... (4:50 PM) :

i mean this in a non-player-hater kind of way but...they look way too styled and precious and clean for me. but maybe that's more honest than trying to be stinky for more cred, usa-hip-kid style. :-)

now, if they weren't models, i think that would also be very cool. like, if they just happened to look like this but they were like "model, what's that? nooooo." except i've met people like that and you're like damn it, be a model! make dat bank! lol.

Blogger The Vintage Scene said ... (11:17 PM) :

Isn't that last model Kelly Osbourne's boyfriend?

Anonymous JSC said ... (9:23 AM) :

The Catcher in the Rye T-shirt is amazing, but aren't they all just a tad pretentious. And too true Isobel, if you're going to reference one of the masterpieces of modern literature, for god's sake know what it is. I mean come on, Catcher in the Rye people!

Blogger Emma said ... (11:50 AM) :

the first look was such an inspiration!

Anonymous Mariana Bonaparte said ... (1:22 PM) :

I'm in love

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:52 PM) :

I love the top picture of the boy in hat with the cigarette. It reminds me of a friend of mine. Well done :)

Anonymous FVAD said ... (2:05 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:23 AM) :

What coat is the guy in the first pic wearing?

I want it!

Blogger MarieAnn said ... (7:19 PM) :

I love the 2nd pic, the look on his face like he's seeing someone or something fiercely attractive, instantly muting all sounds around him (including his friend who seems to be chatting away).. Love all three shots though!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:55 PM) :

holden caulfield marry me

Blogger sofia said ... (10:47 AM) :

I really like that mustache

Blogger Duke De Silver (Senior) said ... (5:36 AM) :

"Catcher in the Rye" tshirt is from S/S 2008 urban outfitters.

Its been washed so many times that the print has faded. Much better than the original bright coloured and new.

Vintage soft, I suspect. Sweet.

Blogger Ricardo Gomes said ... (5:24 PM) :

LOVEEEEEE!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:45 AM) :

I love the 2nd guys hair! DOes anyone know where to get the yellow hat in the first pic?

TOTALLY CUTE AND SRYLISH

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:06 PM) :

I love the Angel and his hat on top.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:37 PM) :

The models are cool. They showcase a different kind of urban styles. That is one thing I love about my guy friends. They have uber urban styles. Nice post.

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:30 AM) :
