On the Street......Eva, Paris

During the men's shows in Milan and Paris I did a little double duty and shot a story for Italian Elle with Eva. She is truly a charmer and the only woman I know that can wear the kookiest hat (or bunny ears) while working very hard and not give the hat a second thought all day.

I'll post a few of the "behind the scenes" shots from the shoot in the evenings this week.

Garance had a photo with the bunny ears a couple of weeks ago.
Does she really ride this bike or it was just part of the set ;-)?

Congratulation for the book.
How does it smell? Sorry for the silly question, but i love book smell (both new and old), and the first thing i do when I hold in my hands is to smell it :-))))
I think I will invest in the special edition.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:08 AM) :

Dear Scott, I am a student studying travel writing at Florence University of the Arts, and I was inspired by this picture to write this short description:

Eva is stunning as she stops her bike just outside a small Parisian cafe, where she is to meet a young man for a blind lunch. Clothed in a white dress perfect for the warm summer breeze, she has a casual grace, winning smile, and short hair reminiscent of a Roman Holiday Audrey Hepburn. And her unique hat, donned to impress, only complements her wardrobe, rather than detracting from it. She pauses to look at the camera before she goes into the cafe, full of excitement over what is to come, what might be. Yet there is not a trace of anxiety in her smiling eyes. She is hopeful, but independent, refusing to put her fate in the hands of a man, and everything in her light wardrobe reflects this easygoing charisma.

Anonymous Artemisia999 said ... (11:56 AM) :

I so love this photo that I posted it on my Facebook page. And to readers wondering how one can cycle in a dress, I go to work everyday on my bicycle and were only dresses. I live in Canada, where Summer is short so why wear pants when one can feel so pretty and feminine in a dress!! With regards as to how one cycles in a dress, quite easy, yes, one has to slightly, slightly hike it up,but not to an indecent height. And I always cycle in wedges.......not yet courageous enough to cycle in heels. But as a previous poster said, you pedal with your soles, not your heels!! Artemisia, xxx

Blogger junglesiren said ... (12:31 PM) :
