This is such a beautiful girl and outfit. It reminds me so much of an equally beautiful Michelle Williams on the red carpet I guess a few years ago now, in a yellow dress (?Vera Wang), red lipstick and loose low chignon. She copped a bit of flack but she really opened my eyes to yellow.
Chloe - apropos parasols and umbrellas, they're quite common here in Sydney during summer. Just do it!

Parasols are so underrated. they are absolutely wonderful for the sun and fit my 1940's style perfectly. I stand out but I don't care. :) I'm nice and protected from the sun.

What's really great about this photo is that she may be in head to toe vintage but she doesn't look like she's wearing a costume. She manages to look Classic and Modern at the same time.

I owned this same parasol and bought in Chinatown NYC ten years ago. It finally ripped so badly I couldn't use it anymore. I now live in San Francisco so don't get to use my parasols very much. They are the best for sunshade.
