yes. I love her bag! Think I may like her layers too but cant really tell what she is wearing.

Blogger miss sophie said ... (9:23 AM) :

there's something a bit 'little Edie Beale' about her - i love the multiple stud details on her granny booties, and her animal print scarf is the perfect splash of print and texture.

Blogger kmarie said ... (9:25 AM) :

Funny how an update in a fashion blog can make a crummy day a bit less stressful . . .

Great bag. I adore the weaved look all the way down to the worn corner and flailing patch.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 AM) :

I would like it even better if she'd worn some green for St. Patrick's Day! :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:44 AM) :

So romantic...She seems to be longing for something.

A look of longing is a lovely accessory, in and of itself, I guess.

Blogger James Jean said ... (9:46 AM) :

Lovely bag and boots...definitely love the boots

Blogger Debbie D said ... (9:47 AM) :

What wicked boots she has on!

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:00 AM) :

That is HM dress, from their pink line, sleeveless with some layers on a bottom

Blogger John B Pritchett said ... (10:01 AM) :

First, this is a great look! From the matching dress and socks to the tapered coat and tights-and topped off with fantastic boots and accessories! Second, she's sooooo cute! Love her pose!

Blogger diane said ... (10:07 AM) :

I need to have that bag!

Blogger E.C. Messer said ... (10:21 AM) :

I agree...where's the green? =) Happy St. Pat's!

Blogger Stefan Jansson said ... (10:25 AM) :

That's a babe alright.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:38 AM) :

i love the way she's matched her gloves and bag! The rusty brown is great with black and white. I love the flowers in her hair, they draw attention to her very pretty, delicate features. I've enjoyed the more high fashion posts from recent fashion weeks but this real street style is a breath of fresh air!

Blogger Glenn said ... (10:42 AM) :

I love how the light blue is present in each section of her outfit - Just barely showing right above the boots.

- Great bag

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:46 AM) :

You had until I saw the white socks......I HATE WHITE SOCKS WITH NON-TENNIS SHOES!!!!!

Blogger Desiree Masiela said ... (11:04 AM) :

I lost similar boots they were vintage Valentin BOOTS with studs..and golden embroidery..love the mix of textures..shelooks great

Blogger MeG said ... (11:09 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:25 AM) :

vintage valextra? yummy.

Blogger Lucy said ... (11:30 AM) :

she's wearing a bit of everything, but her outfit is not messy thanks to the matching bag and gloves... great use of details! =)

Blogger Tiana Couture's Addict said ... (11:38 AM) :

Whaouh wonderful bag!she is so cute!
^^

Blogger kellywinonaoxford said ... (11:42 AM) :

gorgeous girl.
I think the commenter who mentioned Edie hit the nail on the head.
The matching gloves and bag with the black jacket? die.
i'd love to see what was in her hair a little better.

Blogger LivingGolden said ... (12:00 PM) :

I'm totally missing the boat on this one. The bag is just ok. The boots have been done before. Nothing special about the outfit that I can see and I can't make out what's going on with her hair. Hope the Sartorialist chimes in on this one because I don't get it.

Blogger PageAndLeaf said ... (12:22 PM) :

she is so elegant and pretty! I loved the boots and bags.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:38 PM) :

I think she has a very mysterious look in her eyes, that makes the outfit more interesting!

check out my style too at

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:42 PM) :

Wow, look at her face!! Like a beauty from the past!
Fantastic picture!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:48 PM) :

Hm. The bag is H&M from last spring. Sad that they doesn't last, not real leather...

Blogger Amra said ... (12:51 PM) :

My first thought was "gosh, it's Blake Lively" :P
Then when I saw it wasn't I thought about the bag, wich is gourgeous. I think H&M had a similar last year.

Blogger indigo warrior said ... (1:04 PM) :

The eighties are back. (c: Muah ha ha ha ... great lingerie can't be far behind!

Blogger Johanna Urban said ... (1:10 PM) :

Blogger Jim said ... (1:46 PM) :

killer bag, scarf and coat...wish she had "taken one thing off before leaving the house" though, those aqua socks

Blogger Unknown said ... (2:36 PM) :

So spring!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

Bonjour,

I love the granny booties. Where is the big bad wolf?

Bises, Zoé

Blogger Ginger said ... (2:48 PM) :

I want that bag! Also, love the scarf.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:53 PM) :

wow she did a good job with her combination...looks romantic, self-confident and sweet all the time. colourful accents and nice little details.
more women should go for a modern princess-look like that.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:55 PM) :

One word: Adorable!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:57 PM) :

When I first saw this I thought: Nice but not special. A bit plain, even.

But, the more I look, the more I notice the boots with the tiny socks, the interesting, intriguing ruffled skirt, the leopard scarf - adventurous but not loud or tacky - the great hair style, the cool bag, and the great overcoat. Oh, and the expression.

Lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:00 PM) :

I'm swept into a Jane Austen romance by the faraway gaze in her eyes, her pose, the tendrils of her hair, and the soft layered clothes combined with the sturdy lace-up boots. But the color cohesion between her lipstick, that fabulous bag, and her gloves compliment her fair skin and hair color so perfectly. She is also wearing the perfect shade of blush and her eye makeup is strong and defined, but remains soft and mysterious. Her outfit is flawless, but I think this shot (gorgeous photography, as always) truly highlights how makeup can be used to accentuate a look.

Blogger Dennice {Fringe} said ... (3:05 PM) :

as a self-proclaimed accessory fiend, i love that her gloves and bag match.

is that a fascinator in her hair? i hope so. i'm simply fascinated with fascinators...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:17 PM) :

Looks great! I also thought it was Blake Lively at first. I am not a fan of the animal print scarf, but I've never cared for animal print. Love the color of the dress.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:20 PM) :

I've always adored the combination of black, white, and saddle brown...lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:28 PM) :

welll... even if H&M, it's YUMMY!~!!!

Blogger Bowerbird Photography said ... (3:31 PM) :

those boots are awesome!!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (4:09 PM) :

This girl is so dreamy-cute: i'd carry her bag as if I was her butler.

Blogger beths said ... (4:34 PM) :

What's that in/on her hair?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:47 PM) :

the bag is 'broken' at the bottom...but i love that little 'mistake' ..its idiosyncratic and adds character and a sense of the off-beat to her already unique look.

Blogger That Chelsea Girl™ said ... (4:48 PM) :

The bag and the coat are what get me--wish I could see her dress more, the color is so fluffy and dreamy.

Blogger Brigadeiro said ... (4:54 PM) :

AMAZING! The bag! The headpiece, love it all! :)
xx

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:55 PM) :

gosh I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A BAG LIKE THAT FOR FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!

does anybody know where i can get one similar in a price range of 200 or less???

Blogger Bedlam said ... (4:56 PM) :

I love her bag! great photo

Blogger gabrielazeanadal@hotmail.com said ... (6:01 PM) :

Bag too big, I understand we need to carry plenty of things, but the size of the bags they are making it is exagerated.

I wish I could see better what's in her hair, it looks very pretty!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:26 PM) :

I really do not like the small socks coming out of the boots!!

Blogger Pooja said ... (7:08 PM) :

very pretty. love the shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:42 PM) :

Divine bag! Who is the designer? Darling shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:41 PM) :

Love the bag...

Blogger Cassie Jo - Tofuscloset said ... (10:57 PM) :

awesome bag...gorgeous girl

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:54 AM) :

She looks so very short and smothered in clothing.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:04 AM) :

bag looks lovely, like the color too ...really impressive. but dunno know what's on the head.

Blogger Odin's Maven said ... (7:41 AM) :

It's her beauty and attitude which make this photo. I have a bunch of similar stuff in my wardrboe but if I threw it on, I'd look like a mad bag lady. Something about the gaze - winsome but forthright - reminds of Regina Spektor. She's in her own world, and very NY at the same time.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:24 PM) :

i thought this was the girl from gossip girl!

Blogger Nick Leonard said ... (5:47 PM) :

Lovely focus! She's absolutely stunning.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 PM) :

blake lively.. is dat you?

Blogger Irene said ... (3:16 AM) :

Carrie?Is it you?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:10 PM) :

I love everything about her outfit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:02 PM) :

Scott could post a picture of a pineapple and you lot would say it's amazing.......

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (2:38 PM) :

Costume-y, but very subtle.

In a big city a "working girl" goes her own way from corporate globalism. A little heroine?

Big Red Schlepping Tote.

Blogger Ricardo Navarrete (druglord) said ... (6:22 PM) :

She is beautyful too, not only her clothes. Her bag and boots it's amazing, and she, she is really beauty. I love her.She is beautyful too, not only her clothes. Her bag and boots it's amazing, and she, she is really beauty. I love her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:36 PM) :

white dresses are always cool! especially with such contrast as black, red coat would be even more gorgeous 8)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:15 AM) :

I love her drawn in posture and slight curtsy; it even appears as though she is using the oval gape of her sleeve as an impromptu muff!
The color of the bag is remarkable; it reminds me of a wine glass stain against a grey surface. However, the design is overwhelming; lamentably, it reminds me of those seat-belt buckle purses that one can find at gift shops.

Blogger ceci said ... (12:10 PM) :

I definitely WANT her bag!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:02 PM) :

Agreed! Love the bag! Though not sure I like that loose piece hanging out there on the left . . . Very whimsical design, and large enough to be practical.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:13 PM) :

love love love

Blogger erin nuts said ... (2:43 AM) :

This looks so cosy...absolutely LOVE it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:57 PM) :

CARRIE BRADSHAW!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:00 PM) :

yess! so flirty!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:15 PM) :

I agree-stunning. Went to college with her, she is very sweet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:16 PM) :

I agree - she is stunning, and looks like that in real life too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:50 AM) :

she could easily be blake lively's more interesting older sister who doesn't like the spotlight. or maybe my imagination's just running wild...the simplistic intricacy of her outfit catches the attention

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:15 PM) :

Her bag looks like one of YSL, is it really H&M ??
