You are such a tease. You must make me want to see the rest ...

Blogger C.Edwards said ... (8:36 AM) :

(sigh) I need a good new pair of boots...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:37 AM) :

this is my favorite look for boots. a little dirty, grunge, DGAF kind of attitude, but still stylish in that unexpected way.

loves.

looks like a well worn, and beloved shoe...good shot.

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (8:40 AM) :

Combat boots have appeared in fashion spreads for about a year now. It is a great trend that includes a timeless basic- one men's fashion magazine even suggested buying the $35 version from your local army-navy store. I got a pair of Frye Brando boots, and even though pricy, I know I will have them for years. They are not as nice as the pair we see here. I am not so sure about the capped toes (would not look au courant with regular pants), but here they look killer with the buckles undone, and the cut-off skinny jeans. Great look! Thanks for the inspiration! Jorge from WPB

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (8:57 AM) :

Uhm...yes!

But I don't know about the trouser-in-shoe-style.

Blogger Tristan said ... (8:58 AM) :

This trend is v popular in London atm. As well as polo boot variations.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:11 AM) :

great boots, but no hem on the trousers?

Blogger Relaunched said ... (9:31 AM) :

I do not like them. For me it is a little bit to much of punk-generation. Perhaps i love them in a year, but actually a clearly "no".

I can say, that i have seen them too often in the last weeks. hmmm...

Amazing boots! Very inspiring and smells like freedom style.

Blogger The Concrete Commentator said ... (9:51 AM) :

Love those boots!!

Blogger Debbie D said ... (9:52 AM) :

Sexy.

Blogger Stefan said ... (10:02 AM) :

Great details. In the shot. On the boots.

I'd be thinking about a pair of boots and finally caved when I saw a pair on sale at the Barney's Coop.

I've been on the fence on whether to wear pants inside or outside the boots, and here, it is right in the middle.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:05 AM) :

Love them! These would look great with the dresses here...

Blogger crowsfeet said ... (10:42 AM) :

those killer metal taps are wishing they could tap on down to the photo below, kick those other boots right out of the shot and flirt with the hot pink heels

Blogger cmc said ... (11:39 AM) :

Blogger sd said ... (12:30 PM) :

uh!
where are these from!
i want them!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:08 PM) :

Nice boots, but when left unbuckled like that they look too contrived. They're just trying to be noticed.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:26 PM) :

ive been on the market for boots but havent found one that has character like this one... i know a classic like em ones at frye would be good however i would definitely want to get a hold o this pair in the pic... does anyone have any idea? please? mr sartorialist sir?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:58 PM) :

they're gorgeous boots, but the half-in half-out look is way too obviously styled.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:05 PM) :

nothing else to say but classic!!! lov these boots,,,, D-G used to make a boot like this in the late nine's,, to bad i gave them away!!!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:20 PM) :

These remind me of the army-issue tanker boots some of my compatriots wore while I was in the service. I always wanted a pair of those because they are tough as nails and seem to only look better with age and abuse. The unhemmed pants give them that extra gravitas. I agree, makes you wonder what the rest of the outfit looks like. Man defies earth in these boots. Genius shot, Mr. Sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:30 PM) :

I want them! Love the details.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:50 PM) :

I love the boots, but this whole magilla is too contrived/calculated, it's almost icky.

Wearing them undone, just so that the straps push up the hems, just so..... It's like people who wear sleeveless shirts in 50-degree weather, just to show their tats.

It does remind me of The Breakfast Club ("Bender"), though. So, i guess there's something redeeming about it.

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:33 PM) :

the look like grenson, but i'm not sure. rag & bone teamed up with grenson to release something very similar to these, but without the straps.

Blogger the Jassdancer said ... (10:59 PM) :

welcome to 1991, and still Typical Seattle, nothing new here, especially with these pants and unbuckled boot. I think this is trying to hard to be different.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:14 AM) :

i have a pair like this from ralph lauren 2008/2009. i wore them with jeans in with the two buckles undone a lot as well as with jeans over them. a great timeless investment.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 AM) :

badass indeed!
these boots kick some serious ass!
love them...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:11 AM) :

Noone got any idea what boots those are? :(

Blogger Words Between the Spaces said ... (8:49 AM) :

Those are some fine boots!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:30 AM) :

Are these motorcycle boots?

Blogger Unknown said ... (10:20 AM) :

i'm going to take a guess and say these are balenciaga (just from looking at the web address).

Ralph Lauren makes some really awesome motorcycle/equestrian varieties too.

Anonymous Debarge said ... (12:56 AM) :

omg this is heaven

Blogger LuxuryObsessed.com said ... (7:36 PM) :

Looking hot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:44 PM) :

does anyone know what kind of boots these are?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:29 PM) :

I love the boots, they're gorgeous. Love the rocker and grunge side to them. Would love to hame them yet I'm not a guy!

Blogger Joy Mars said ... (10:20 PM) :

Kinda "The Village People" redux.

They're cool and I love the taps, but isn't there some other way of showing them off other than open?

I guess it's sexy to walk down the street looking like your beginning to undress.

Am I missing something here?

Blogger Leonardo Sodini said ... (10:19 PM) :

irresistible black boots: very sexy !!!

Anonymous ronan the librarian said ... (11:27 PM) :

(sigh) ... I wish I had kept my grey Cesare Paciotti (circa 1983) boots like these. What goes around comes around!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:31 PM) :

Want the same....

Blogger bonneyboys said ... (12:24 PM) :

Are these Ann Demeulemeester boots? Sure look like it...I've been coveting a pair of her fold-over pirate/motorcycle boots for years.pr

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:18 PM) :

I think the European Ranger Boots unbuckled is a HOT look. I wish I could see the entire outfit as well as the person but then again, it gives an aire of mystery.
