Now Stockholm is a great and beautiful city but why did you skip Wonderful Copenhagen?

Great Dane

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:52 AM) :

is that a floral pattern on her dress?
whatever it is, the optical blending that i see happening matches with the rest of her outfit really nicely.

it also looks like she did some shopping at american apparel hahaha

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:29 AM) :

She looks like she just walked out of an APC catalogue. I love the textured knee socks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:46 AM) :

quite simply - great styling.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:07 AM) :

I love her look. She looks like a proper mod. I hope she loves the music too though, it would be such a waste if her personality did not match her look. Where is the parka from?

Blogger Diana said ... (5:38 AM) :

I really like knee-socks, it is a pity, that once you are over 30 also look like over 30, they look rather embarrassing on you.

What do you think? Is it a solution for wearing knee-socks over 30 not looking like a "school-girl wannabe"?

Blogger Tinkerbell and fairies said ... (6:05 AM) :

LOVe her dress! and her hair!

Blogger Jorge from W Palm Beach said ... (8:04 AM) :

Ah! Once again one of those looks I know I shouldn't like, but I do. It feels as thought the outfit starts with her hair, perfect in color and flow to her dress, which almost peeks from under her jacket. Somehow the color of her socks/leggings is very close to the color of her coat, yet they match. And finally, her shoes that are utilitarian almost to the point of looking medical. Oh, but it works! Maybe it is her honest "I like what I am wearing and I don't give a damn what y'all think" attitude. But don't listen to me; I often look at the hobos on the street for inspiration! Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (8:09 AM) :

She looks great! Her dress is beautiful!

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (8:10 AM) :

I agree with Anonymous 2:15am, you shoul visit Copenhagen!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:12 AM) :

love her shoes. think i'll adopt some elements of this look(socks, shoes) for next fall.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:38 AM) :

is she carrying an american apparel bag? love the knee sock shoe combination.

Blogger ryder said ... (9:15 AM) :

it is great the way the jacket roughs up the sweet dress and school girl socks with ponytail.

Blogger Brightlightwarriornika said ... (9:28 AM) :

I saw this dress in H&M. I must say it looks better on her than the Hanger and Myself.

Blogger meredith said ... (9:54 AM) :

I was thinking wearing dark knee socks with skirt and dresses again. This photo cinches it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:57 AM) :

seriously is it already that cold in sweden???
it's not even sep yet!!!

regardless I love their quiet style. quite but sophisticated. as if they all have so much secrets they don't want to let you know :p

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:07 AM) :

It's not that cold in Stockholm yet about 18-20 degrees celsius, but it has bee raining alot. I was also surprised by the rather heavy jacket.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:22 AM) :

love the knee socks with the sweetly patterned dress and utilitarian coat. hair and shoes finish it. she's good.

Blogger mette said ... (10:26 AM) :

I don´t like the socks nor the shoes. The rest is ok and she looks quite sweet.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:42 AM) :

whoa. i've been looking for a good peter-pan collar dress for a while now. this is perfect (not to mention pairing it with the socks and coat).

none (above) says the dress is from h&m? h&m in canada blows.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:57 AM) :

Okay, I will be the odd opinion out... the short dress with the smocking and rounded collar, with the knee socks and flats, looks more like something I would expect on a six year old. That said, the young lady's hair is marvelous.

Blogger Fashion Serial Killer said ... (11:58 AM) :

cute. i like the knee socks and her hair

Blogger Cate O'Malley said ... (12:00 PM) :

Such a pretty face, why does she cover it up? You're lovely, dear, let us see your smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:05 PM) :

Young people truly love to dress with style. Then life comes along to slap the shit out of them a little, opportunities narrow, the metabolism slows, and pretty soon they're putting on the daily uniform with fanny packs. Wait and see.

Blogger gloRia said ... (12:26 PM) :

love her socks!!!

Blogger saintvenus said ... (12:31 PM) :

her hair highlighted the whole look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:52 PM) :

I have this dress! H&M Philly on sale $20

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:20 PM) :

This girl is such a natural.

Love the chap in the summer whites, too!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:22 PM) :

Wow. Those socks!

Great socks and tights are such an under-used accessory.

Blogger The Domina said ... (1:23 PM) :

Love it! Makes me rather impatient for Autumn to arrive!

Blogger CULTURE CREATORS said ... (1:25 PM) :

I love this, its so yummy with the peach building in the background. Great bangs.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:37 PM) :

she's wearing a dress from h&m that i got last year, one of my favorites. love the way she put it all together.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:51 PM) :

Regarding the weather:

It's rather warm actually, temperatures hit 22 C at Stockholm today. Only thing is, that it gets cold as soon as the sun goes down.

Don't know at what time this picture was taken, but that jacket surely looks beautiful on her, in it's own personal way!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 PM) :

I don't know, I have seen this kind of style all over Sweden for the past five to ten years - there's always a girl in a green parka around, no matter what. But I nevertheless dig her style, if nothing else because it makes me nostalgic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:12 PM) :

The color of her hair is lovely with that dress -- and with her coat too -- but mainly it complements her dress.

Beautifully set up photograph, how she's standing in front of the archway of pale stone surrounded by blush walls and even the on-looker dressed all in white!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:32 PM) :

How i miss Södermalm! I was shopping there last winter. For me, one of the nicest neighborhoods from Europe.
Sart, you should try to go to Nakkna, is a really cool shop. Tjärhovsgatan Street, 3.

Enjoy it!

Blogger stephen said ... (4:25 PM) :

she's cool. and she's got all those pockets to put stuff in. like pencils and coins and mix tapes.

Blogger Imogen Quest said ... (4:29 PM) :

Lovely photo as usual but... there is something slightly haphazard about this look that does not quite gel together. The shape of the dress and the parka somehow drown each other out. Love the bottom part but the top seems just too bulky, too overwhelming.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:44 PM) :

i love her parka jacket thing. someone know where i can find something like it? or it? and she's really pretty...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:03 PM) :

it's so wrong it's almost right

Blogger Karina said ... (6:16 PM) :

Oh, wow, I have the dissenting opinion here: I'm not fond of this at all. Yes, looks like a child's outfit, a type of "now-mod," I suppose, as well, but I don't find it terribly flattering.
Additionally, it looks like so many photos on other blogs - not very inspirational.

Maybe I'm just too old. :-)

Blogger comtedamour said ... (7:55 PM) :

wow, winter coat in august...scary... no thanks.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:16 PM) :

this is the kind of girl every boy seems to fall in love with. effortlessly cool.

Blogger Cassaundra said ... (10:34 PM) :

i like this look very much!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:45 PM) :

I like her shadowed gaze

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

great maternity look!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:22 AM) :

Effortless! I wish I had her coat, it's fantastic.

Blogger C. Varia said ... (1:11 AM) :

she's as cute as a button

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 AM) :

i think the man behind deserves to have a photo taken as well. he looks well fitted to be on the sart.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:34 AM) :

I love this look! The proportions are excellent, including the slight drape of the socks around the ankles.
It's winter here in sydney, but apparently about the same temperature as stockholm (18-20 celcius) - I can definitely see myself wearing this for the transition from late winter to spring.

Blogger Martti Des said ... (4:33 AM) :

Such a wonderful girl!

Blogger Olviya said ... (6:14 AM) :

great "grand-mom's" dress!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:42 AM) :

I was at Södermalm last autumn and I fell in love with that neighborhood. Cute, clean, quiet and with lots of cool and cheap stores. Just amazing.
Sart, you should go to the Nakkna shop (Tjärhovsgatan 3), they have a Demeulemeester touch and his prices are reasonable enough. Pretty little shop, but with zillions of tons of stylish things. Wish I was there now!

Blogger Unknown said ... (12:59 PM) :

She's my bestfriend Almudena, she's even more lovely than her amazing outfits, and hey, he is from (and lives in) Madrid, so Sweddish don't score this one!

Blogger "Eddie in the corner" said ... (7:10 PM) :

Boy, i'm missing something here.
Pretty face. Period.
To me the clothing looks dumpy and lifeless, At or below ..ordinary.
I'll keep reading the comments and hope for a clue; but right now i'm thinking the empress is naked.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:27 PM) :

Thank you, I've bin searching for a way to wear my knee-socks. This picture will be my inspiration when I get dressed next time. the best thing is that the picture is taken in my hometown stockholm, funny how it could be.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 PM) :

yikes.....a bit sloppy....and is it cold already up there?

Blogger Mr. Lake said ... (12:03 AM) :

i appreciate the style yet don't really like it. Her uber-cuteness is her saving grace IMHO!

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (6:27 AM) :

södermalm is my favorite part of Stockholm. I could move there...tomorrow.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:17 PM) :

Love her hair, multicolored knit dress, and how the brown coat sets the colors off, but I think she's too bulky on top. If the dress were of thinner knit or the coat was more close-fitting the ensemble would look better.

Blogger Jaap van Vliet said ... (5:39 PM) :

Pippi Langstrumpf!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:58 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:19 AM) :

Calafate I know you!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 AM) :

Lovely girl but the outfit is too childish for her. She's young but not that young!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:46 PM) :

oh man. shes wonderful

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:22 PM) :

Beautiful---she looks like a Margaret Keane painting.

Bluebell

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:52 AM) :

oh please lc224. enough with the age comments people. outfits are about aesthetics, and this woman has it right. perfect dress and jacket combo with that hair and the socks i will kill for.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:28 PM) :

Only euro chicks can make frumpy look so hot...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:03 PM) :

The cutest girl ever!!!

Blogger Tyler Scaife said ... (2:32 PM) :

Shes so incredibly lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:45 AM) :
