Beautiful people! That lady again, she is really pretty and I must say, her hair and jacket look much nicer than in her previous picture. The woman in the left wears a very nice trench, but I don't really like that elephant leg pants. I wish I could see more of the boy's scarf and shirt, but the coat he is wearing is very interesting too.

Such a cool trio, if they could only lighten those colours they wear with a smile!

Blogger Fashionstyle said ... (4:50 AM) :

Thanks for your lovely photo...and blog !!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:08 AM) :

Come on guys, how can you be so terribly FRENCH??? Great!!

Blogger polina said ... (6:08 AM) :

yes, i immediately recognized the girl in the centre. now she is wearing another outfit but with absolutely the same proportions as it was on wednesday. so now we know that that jacket wasn't oversized by chance.it's her personal style and she does it perfect!

Blogger MARCA REGISTRADA said ... (7:27 AM) :

hey guys can i join u for a coffee? i bet people that stylish are nice. plus style always means cleverness to me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:00 AM) :

Ah the perfectly imperfect Parisian hair I will never be able to achieve... This picture reminds me of how utterly uncool I am!

Oh, also, I love the trench on the left. Any clue where it's from?

Blogger NATRIBU said ... (8:13 AM) :

I like the grey coat!
Un saludo desde Barcelona.

Blogger MARIA H said ... (9:00 AM) :

When comparing this image with the image of Giovanna (previous post), the difference beteen Parisian, and Milanese hair (attitude) becomes evident and interesting. The allure of rock still bangs Paris. That's something Carine knows to the core.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:25 AM) :

Great group shot - Winter style conjures up expressive faces!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:28 AM) :

Why do otherwise well-dressed people insist on wearing their trousers so long that they're sopping up the street juices? Yuck.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:32 AM) :

I love the women's use of the wide trouser but I think it works best on the woman with the cinched waist because it flatters her figure more and gives the overall outfit a more feminine look.

Blogger so said ... (10:14 AM) :

great coats (especially the 2 on the left), & great trousers (again, the 2 on left)!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:20 AM) :

I don't understand how having your pants drag on the ground is chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:30 AM) :

this is the barbieri team in its full splendour. La Barbieri is so hot and chic! i read in sartorialist she lives in Buenos Aires and she is from Argentina.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:28 AM) :

Quoi? Young aristocrats.

Blogger AdamfromVA said ... (11:29 AM) :

damn, best pic in forever! love the trenches. too much to comment on, model of perfection

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:30 AM) :

is the lady in the middle the same one in the suit from a few days ago? such effortless chic!

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:47 AM) :

The women look very sharky, defensive. I like the guy's touch of oppenness and fun with his sneaks though.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 AM) :

Can someone please explain to me what is going on with all the pant lengths? Seems like every other post lately I see people wearing pants that look too long, which I would think would get awful dirty and shredded at the hem, not to mention a tripping hazard if you are wearing heels. Aside from the pant lengths, they all look great!

Magnifique, Sart! Cette photographie est tout au sujet des cheveux. J'aime le foulard de l'homme beaucoup. Regardant ce poicture, je suis heureux de vivre sous le soleil. Le soleil est près de moi.

Blogger stacy said ... (1:02 PM) :

I wonder where they are playing tonight?

Very Rock n Roll chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:26 PM) :

another case of ladies wearing dior homme, the gray coat is fall winter dior homme.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:31 PM) :

this is a perfect example of pp trying to hard... the dead giveaway is that all three are basiclly wearing the same thing and poorly might i add. im sure its the trend of the moment..in fact i know it is. blaze the path, dont follow it. and if you do follow the path, at least walk the edge!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:18 PM) :

i actually rather like the longer length of the pants, especially on the woman in the middle. the way the round toe of a shoe comes out from underneath them just looks very cute to me.
however, the woman on the left? thats going a little overboard, i think. her feet don't exist anymore, and that's probably when you know that your pants need to be hemmed.
on another note, i love how the man's shoes have that ridiculously white streak. it gives his outfit more dimension.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:07 PM) :

Vampires in trench coats! They are so sexy...

Blogger Unknown said ... (6:28 PM) :

Mm, absolutely lovely. Throw the jeans on the left with the coat in the middle and the shirt/scarf on the right, and voila! Perfection! ..not to say they all don't look respectively great.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:12 PM) :

To ya folks in da hood: is this some French style meets Gansta Rapper freakshow? I mean come on! Those trousers are hideous! Sorry didn't work for me this time.

/X

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:18 PM) :

The scarf on the garcon is very interesting.
I really love how he wears it like an ascot and there's a little collar showing.
In the winter months, it's so difficult to show off your shirts when they're hidden behind some bulky jacket. This seems like a good idea to keep out the cold and show off the collar...
I'd think, though, that the scarf must not be too heavy/thick in order to achieve this? Also it must made of something like a woven silk or fine wool anything heavy probably wouldn't work... anyone have any other ideas?
Also, I think the length of their pants are perfectly tailored...Especially les filles... I believe a womans trousers should always fall a bit longer than shorter. I find it so much more attractive...

Blogger displayname7 said ... (10:22 PM) :

ugh...his shoes are awful and his coat's fit is not flattering at all. he needs to be cropped out of this photo.
god! those shoes!!!! ack!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:47 PM) :

hmm, dunno, I am really not too into their look.... overly long pants that fall strangely and oversized coats that look drab, bed-head looking hair, eh... not my definition of chic...

Blogger Unknown said ... (11:30 PM) :

PLease, sarto, can you do a book only of pictures of the staff of French Vogue. What else is necessary, really? Someone else made the comment above re: the French having the "rock" style...I couldn't agree more...American vogue is now dated, with boring socialites...the women you picture have **real** style that has less to do with class (in American terms) and more in common with an innate self-assurance. Thanks also for providing pictures of grown-ups, rather than assymetrical haircuts with neon sweaters...cheers!

Blogger Michael said ... (11:40 PM) :

i like his coat a lot.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:49 AM) :

Ooh I think those shoes on the right are from pull and bear!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:53 AM) :

WOW! I wish I could have friends this cool! They are banging! And the guy is so cute! I want to get out of this hick town and to Paris like right now.

Blogger odilean said ... (11:59 AM) :

i agree, everyone looks like they are melting into the ground. i appreciate a well-hemmed pant.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:07 AM) :

I see Lavins...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:59 PM) :

These people are perfection.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:36 AM) :

I too like his coat. Any idea who it's by? I need one ASAP.

Blogger boop said ... (10:21 PM) :

that is my good friend on the right and i can assure you that his style is innate and enviably effortless.

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (1:43 PM) :

Yeah, its so French. The clasically cut WOMEN'S trousers with no gimmicky tapering, flaring or skinniness gave it away :)

I think the coat in the middle is Dior Homme from the fall/ winter 2008 collection
