such a perfect/contrasting/amazing pair

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:15 PM) :

Gawd, bad enough their outfits compliment each other so beautifully, but they even look related!

Blogger Haircuts... said ... (11:21 PM) :

A handsome young couple, but so odd style, she in a minimalistic robe and a long nice Page. And he in his graffiti style, Punk inspired pants. I notes that he has the same hairstyle as your earlier posted inlay “On The Street.....Black, White & Green” is this a Stockholm style (you who travels a lot maybe know)? Anyway it suites very well to his pants and the color scale

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:33 PM) :

Is this a boy and a girl or two girls? Anyway I like the brunette more.Although her dress is a somewhat too severe for summer,it suits her.Her shoes are nice and the brown bag nicely fits in.She has beautiful hair too.Sorry but I don´t seem to be able to comment the other person.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:47 PM) :

great great great

Blogger DeepBlueSea said ... (12:17 AM) :

Is this Scarlett Johansson's long-lost Stockholm cousin?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:30 AM) :

My heart fills with delight each day you put up new Stockholm pictures. I love that everyone looks different from everyone else, yet all look good. Paris and Milan pics are always attractive but in Paris everyone wears leather and black and opaque tights and look just like each other. In Milan everyone looks classy and tailored but no one dares stray from elegance. Now I am your average American who hasn't traveled too much internationally and don't follow fashion magazines, but just based on the pictures from this blog I feel that Stockholm is a place where people are free to dress their personalities and coexist peacefully, beautifully, as shown in this gorgeous photograph.

I´m gonna cut muy hair like the blond one. Why is stokholm so hip!
I looooove their music. You should see this video of The Concretes from their last album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcuuw-QAHDs

for lighting and composition alone. . . this may be one of your best shots i've ever seen.

good work.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:54 AM) :

Very nice... cool hair... I just wish they were smiling/didn't look so mean.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:40 AM) :

that guy is positively skeletal.

but nonetheless, amazing ensembles; a vivid combination of somberness and asymmetry.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:47 AM) :

love the dress

Blogger Haircuts... said ... (1:52 AM) :

About the hairstyle again.
I notice that even your posted inlay
" On the Street.....Pale Beauty, Stockholm" have the same hairstyle, but more wavy. I have´t seen that in the magazine´s.

Blogger Evey said ... (1:57 AM) :

Love this. Love them. Love it all.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:10 AM) :

ther r cousins!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:08 AM) :

Yes, I like this "urban" style and want to see more of it. Suits, jackets, and pretty dresses are all very nice, but as an aging punk/headbanger, I want to see stuff like this to balance it out. This is fashion too, imo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:40 AM) :

young.

Blogger G. said ... (3:43 AM) :

the dress... :)

Blogger Disneyrollergirl.net said ... (4:30 AM) :

Les nouveaux romantiques

Blogger DJ FunkyGrrL said ... (5:07 AM) :

Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground, well at least Nicole

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:08 AM) :

i think they're cousins.. and i think they're from norrköping.

Blogger stacy said ... (6:35 AM) :

They 'work' on so many levels. Together, individually, stature and structure, but, what really seals the deal are his shoes and her purse.

Another shot you should be really proud of. Very editorial.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:09 AM) :

What's in the water over there!?

mltt

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:12 AM) :

This is exactly the kind of photo that captures a moment when you're walking down the street and two kids very similar to these walking in the opposite direction leave you with a poignant feeling of longing to recapture youth, adventure and awareness without self consciousness. They are so fresh, despite the grit.

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (9:13 AM) :

great expression
serious and classy
i absolutely love it

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:56 AM) :

Viciously lovely with such youthful ferocity. Totally jealous. They are incredible. Sooo....I will now compose a way to move myself across the ocean to the streets of Stockholm, pronto. Merci Beaucoup. Problems solved.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (10:06 AM) :

Fantastic photo!

Blogger Orchid & Wasp said ... (10:25 AM) :

Gorgeous. Reminded me of Rilke:

We are set down in life as in the element to which we best correspond, and over and above this we have through thousands of years of accommodation become so like this life, that when we hold still we are, through a happy mimicry, scarcely to be distinguished from all that surrounds us.

-Rilke

Blogger Anhoni Patel said ... (11:05 AM) :

My God. This photo is amazing. Love the "punk punk" graffiti in the background. And love the hair on the andro-boy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:05 AM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:24 PM) :

Sart: One of your best photos ever. Wow!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:30 PM) :

Very hard to pinpoint the era of this shot, I would believe you if you told me it was 30 years old. Not just the outfits but something about the colors, the light, I don't know. Fascinating photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:10 PM) :

this is BY FAR one of my favorite posts of yours thus far, so sexy, a perfect capture of edgy romantic youth

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:08 PM) :

stunning photo!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:16 PM) :

These two are so beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:36 PM) :

I want to be them!So cool, such a raw elegance and the jeans are the freshest piece of clothing I've seen in a long time!

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:15 PM) :

she is cute...like her hair

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:26 PM) :

wow this looks like something in an art magazine.

Blogger Annika said ... (4:36 PM) :

Is this a certain kind of style in Sweden, or are these two actually as angsty as they are trying to look?
Someone needs to tell them that life's not all that bad.
Maybe they are feeling the terrible burden of being so beautiful...

Blogger Jack Daniel said ... (4:58 PM) :

He looks German, she looks...nice, very nice.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:20 PM) :

True! Picture Perfect! They stand out yet magically blend in with the background. Nice Shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:11 PM) :

Wonderful! They are both beautiful and super stylish. Amazing photo.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:15 PM) :

Unbelievably scandinavian, even in punk outfits they still manage to look healthy and unmistakably like children of the welfare countries.

Great photo very balanced and sleek urban feel. Uh and this nordic light that you capture so well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:18 PM) :

Urban Outfitters wishes they were this cool! Love the graffiti background.

Blogger Eric said ... (10:36 PM) :

My favorite part is that they both pull off things that so few people are able to: mandals on him and black and brown on her.

Blogger Nicole Then said ... (10:53 PM) :

ooh...love those looks with the background!! Great shot

Blogger Charlene said ... (2:51 AM) :

stunners!i stared at this pic for a while-mesmerized.
perfect combination..it would not have been as impactful if the picture was just either person..but i m more drawn to the guy here..love the fact that they arent smiling as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:43 AM) :

Perfect shot!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:20 AM) :

wow!!! i also see a slight scarlett johansson in her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:49 PM) :

They look great.

Sart, I realise you like Stockholm but you really need to come to London b/c it's very similar ... obviously a much much much larger city so you have to go to specific areas but the style is perhaps even more unique than Stockholm ... even the Facehunter has moved here because it's so great fashion wise! ... get ur ticket & come to east & north west london - k?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:09 PM) :

To some of the above commenters: these two are definitely not punk.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:15 AM) :

Wow, this is gorgeous! In my opinion one of your best.

Blogger Pistachio Of Liberty said ... (1:20 AM) :

I am so glad that Anonymous referred to Facehunter. I had not heard of and so I checked it out.

I have never commented on the photography itself, and never understood how it was such a big deal - I mean you just point at someone in a cool outfit, right? Well, the Facehunter is terrific but it has provided me with an appreciation of the quality of this blog and talent of its author.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:42 PM) :

Such a cool, stylish couple!

Blogger The Sampler said ... (1:31 PM) :

I recently saw this photo in the Sart book of photos and instantly loved it...I'm partial to Scandinavian style. I also had to trace the photo down on the blog to see any comments on the boy's man bag. Does anyone know who makes the bag he's carrying?
