Blogger The Spicers said ... (7:03 PM) :

This is the Italian journalist from before, right?
She always looks amazingly individual!

Blogger lewehrman said ... (7:27 PM) :

She is BACK!

My favorite of all Sartorialist time!

I love her and her skirt!

Blogger matt williams said ... (7:40 PM) :

I love skirts that have an ethnic(sp) look with a plain white or black tee. This is such a fresh and dressed up but dreassed down look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:57 PM) :

One word. SPECTACULAR.

Blogger Susan B said ... (8:08 PM) :

Your pictures of this woman always make me smile. She's so cool and I love the strength she seems to project.

Just so wonderful!

Stunning. My absolute favorite.

oh, just lovely

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:08 PM) :

That is so awesome. It's cute without being flashy, and just so right.

Blogger Unknown said ... (9:25 PM) :

Yes, the journalist!

Rock on! Love the patterning. Ethnic chic. Love the stack of pink bracelets. Quite unexpected.

Sarto, would you consider interviewing her about her style? I would love to read about her style influences!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:25 PM) :

Perfection!

Blogger Jennifer said ... (9:32 PM) :

Yay Renata! How does she do it? Fantastic!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:59 PM) :

I have a huge respect for your eye for fashion and details but this isn't one of them. She looks like a bohemian hippie who still lives in Village.

Blogger Nora said ... (11:21 PM) :

Love her.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:40 PM) :

effortless chic....

Blogger PAULO said ... (12:09 AM) :

This is such an individualistic look. It's a very personal style and she carries it off very well. Plus it's quite age appropriate, which I truly love and adore.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:16 AM) :

I'm stunned by her ability to work the backpack: it's fully integrated into the look. Accolades to you both.

Blogger benson said ... (12:28 AM) :

The woman with the great bag! She was my introduction to your blog and it almost feels like seeing an old friend...how do these same people keep appearing in your photos from foreign countries? You're almost like a television show and these are the cameo appearances of the guest actors.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:38 AM) :

Nice to see her again!

Thanks, Sart

mltt

Blogger CriolloGlam said ... (1:59 AM) :

I just like her..is not that she dresses that great!!, she seeem careless obout what anybody could say, i thing thats the seacret to develope de way of manifastating how you are,and there is a time when being bold and careless make and statement, and as i can see from all the notes here, finally is making her recognizable, cingular...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:26 AM) :

Oh that skirt! The more I look at the photo the more I see movement in the stillness ~ exquisite! bravo Sart...

Blogger mary lauda said ... (3:48 AM) :

Thank you for photographing her! I love your photos of her the most because she seems so genuine. I agree with the person who said that you should interview her about her style. She is like the Italian version of my grandmother. I hope you keep running into her whenever you are in Italy!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:51 AM) :

Renata .....? her last name please...

what a delicious collection..of pieces...from the shoes up...fabulous

Blogger Mysterious Creature said ... (7:40 AM) :

I love this picture! The skirt is fantastic - looks like something Antonio Marras would design. I love print and color combinations. And, of course, beautiful lady.

Blogger Stratos Bacalis said ... (7:42 AM) :

Renata's look has started looking a bit outdated....I know she΄s a mighty individual but in Greece this look has the "communist youth" stamp all over it.

Blogger nuanz said ... (8:30 AM) :

she is not on the street, so I am speculating that maybe you and Renata will work together in the future? It would be really really interesting.

Blogger peanut said ... (8:41 AM) :

LOVE HER!

Blogger peanut said ... (8:41 AM) :

LOVE HER!

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (9:48 AM) :

Fabulous! Love how the skirt is slightly billowing as well - beautiful detail and timing on the photographer's part!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:53 AM) :

In a place where fashion is perhaps dictated by trends and name recognition, it is refreshing to see someone wear clothing that does not, at first glance, appear as "in"; however, that is one of the great ironies of fashion, that whatever is awkward or out is somehow very fashion forward, an ideal which your blog displays daily. I think her style is Miuccia Prada mixed with a sort of Andean sensibility - from the sandal to the plays on proportion, she seems to remain comfortable yet partake in the Italian fashion scene at the same time. Bravo for her maverick spirit.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:33 AM) :

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

she has got this aura around her, i can not describe, but beautiful woman.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:09 AM) :

Total gipsy in style; otherwise classical and somewhat bcbg! Good, Renata!

Blogger anonymous said ... (11:22 AM) :

simply amazing...how about a blog just about her!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:20 PM) :

who knew a cardigan tied around the waist could look chic?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:53 PM) :

!!! thank you.

Blogger Lilith said ... (4:23 PM) :

The stack of pink bangles is sublime!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:09 PM) :

i dont like this look...it's too hippie-ish.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:51 PM) :

Effortless. She's sucha star.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:39 PM) :

I like everything but the pack straps.
Lisa

Blogger Unknown said ... (4:19 AM) :

i love her
she's always great

Blogger c Love said ... (12:49 PM) :

Renata! I loved her from the first time I saw her looking so strong smart & lovely on your blog. If I have a daughter one day, I may name her Renata.

Blogger Karen G. Anderson said ... (3:37 AM) :

What a joy. I'd give anything to take a look through her closet for inspiration. I'd also like to know what pack she is wearing. Maybe Mandarina Duck?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:57 AM) :

She looks terrific and with such an individual style. Just love it.

Never heard of her but it appears from all that I've read that she's someone to watch...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:02 PM) :

I wish I could agree with the accolades heaped on this woman's outfit, but it seems so very ordinary to me. Far from being individual, I'd say it's quite commonplace and boring. And, it doesn't do anything for her, except make her look a bit short and out-of-date. This one screams 1970s hippie. Been there, done that, got over it. Sorry if this seems harsh, but I can't see anything fab about this scrungy look.

Blogger Model Citzen said ... (12:24 AM) :

LOVE THIS WOMAN!!! So happy to see her once again. Renata is the epitome of effortless chic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:22 PM) :

Yay! I love her! I always love her facial expression- totally in control.
