Come on.. What did you say to make her laugh so hard??

Absolutely delightful.

To capture such emotion in a shot takes true talent.

Blogger Carolina Lange said ... (8:03 AM) :

She looks so great! Love her necklace and her shoes!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:16 AM) :

Again, all about the accessories, and the glow from within !

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:21 AM) :

Wow, she is so cute. Nice styling (sure, it's Marni, what else? ;-) and above all her natural smile. Dear working-at-Marni-beauty, you do a good job on your appearance.

Greetings from old Europe, Andrea

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:17 AM) :

What a fresh face, and her joy is so beautifully captured! Wonderful, wonderful shot, Sart, and love, love, love her fun necklace.

Blogger Patricia said ... (9:32 AM) :

oh my good!!!this shoes are like "madreñas" the tipical shoes of the Asturian forbears which were done of wood and they were putting on the slippers.

Blogger The Spicers said ... (9:40 AM) :

She wears it well! I'm coveting Marni's chunky necklaces.

Blogger kit said ... (9:40 AM) :

i love the necklace.

Blogger Jennifer said ... (9:43 AM) :

personification of marni!

This woman epitomises the Marni aesthetic.

Lovely grey! And welcome also to Finland's streets with camera..

Blogger Tiffany said ... (10:32 AM) :

I love the necklace (thought it was enameled copper at first)

Her shoes and the fact that she is wearing pockets though she has hips.

I wish I could figure out how to pull off dresses with pockets without looking so frumpy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:44 AM) :

Love Marni, but look would work better with the higher heeled version of this Marni shoe. it would help enlongate the look.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:19 AM) :

That is the most beautiful smile I've seen in ages...Again an inspirational post! The subtly quirky outfit and slightly messy hair is fantastic too!!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:51 AM) :

This I like very much! Knee socks have been missing in my life, welcome back dear friends NOW!
Also the skirt length is nice and the total colour is subtle and friendly. Thanks New York and Mr. Sart!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:57 AM) :

marni is personally not my cup of tea but what a smile!!! you brightend my day!

Blogger siongc said ... (12:06 PM) :

Now here is a woman who has personality. Her infectious smile has brightened my day!

Her gorgeous necklace sets off her outfit wonderfully too!

Blogger Tiffany said ... (12:32 PM) :

Geesh.
And of course that smile!

:D

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:34 PM) :

How beautiful! So natural.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:00 PM) :

I don't know about this one, Sart. I like the hair and the necklace. Welcome home.

Blogger Claris said ... (1:03 PM) :

She looks so comfortable in her own skin. Thanks for brightening my day.

Blogger Resplendato said ... (1:07 PM) :

Welcome back Scott! That first picture is especially wonderful. Did you say something to her to get her to light up like that? That is a great skill to capture someone like that!

Blogger knitlit kate said ... (1:30 PM) :

dig the hip librarian look. i love the contrast of the trad grey knee socks with the mod necklace and pumps. of course, her best accessory is that dazzling smile.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:36 PM) :

Cute! it's nice to see normal, pretty girls looking good, without attitude.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:49 PM) :

OMG I LOVE HER!! She is soooo beautiful. I just love her smile, and that necklace. And what about the modern day clogs?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:00 PM) :

what a lovely smile!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:08 PM) :

OMG what a beautiful necklace...where can I get it???

Blogger Asi Mod said ... (2:11 PM) :

It has an interesting and intellectual look to it; a mix of preppy librarian with urban hipster style. The sweater set and skirt length are very conservative but her knee high stockings and chunky shoes add a little twist to the ensemble.

I love it. I think she looks gorgeous.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:47 PM) :

She sold me a belt not long ago. TOTAL sweetheart. She was wearing that same necklace that day and when I complemented her on it she said that she liked it because it made her happy.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:06 PM) :

I love everything about this look exceptf for the too chunky shoes --throws it off for me.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:33 PM) :

ehi sart why don't u come here in rome with your camera?!?!?!?!?!
i'd love to meet you!

(sorry for the off topic comment, beautiful shot as usual)

Blogger dnqcnn said ... (3:34 PM) :

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:41 PM) :

I love the laugh! :D Just love it! Thank you for wonderful pictures!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:50 PM) :

Let's have more of this sort of girl. Please, no more with the black leggings-based outfits. New York is so over it, and I hope you finally are as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:28 PM) :

fresh, interesting, lovely. thank god for new york.

Blogger Unknown said ... (5:37 PM) :

The hair, the necklace, the short over long, cheeky.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:40 PM) :

she's lovely.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:01 PM) :

LOVE THIS. What a refreshing site form NYC. A brunette with short hair and a great smile, natural and joyful. Love the clothes. Have y'all noticed how much clean lines cost now and that cheap stuff is all about fussy? Keep these great NYC/USA shots coming, Sart! Make us stay at the top of our games here! xoxoxo, Dawn

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:08 PM) :

C'mon - she's marni staff! ... she's never gonna look bad is she? ... whatever marni store in the world you go to they always look good - their was a story in british vogue about the marni staff in the london sloane street store & their style etc...

Blogger JO said ... (6:50 PM) :

WOW! WHAT A UNIQUE Necklace!
Love it!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:15 PM) :

What a happy looking girl!

Blogger missx said ... (7:56 PM) :

Contagious smile! None of that stoic pretentious nonsense.

I personally loved the way she buttoned her cardigan, but I have to say that in this instance it's the girl that makes the clothes, not the clothes that makes the girl.

Blogger Eastern Aisle Credit Solutions, Inc. said ... (11:25 PM) :

kinda weird outfit but nothing beats that personality.. even in the photos one could see that she has a great personality..

Blogger Kits said ... (3:24 AM) :

Loved the contrast between the necklace and her clothes! Her smile is so brite too!

Blogger jkh said ... (5:09 AM) :

love love love

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:16 AM) :

there's something a bit carnaby street in the shape of the shoes paired with the knee-highs.

Cool.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:39 AM) :

I am WILDLY, UNNATURALLY inspired by this look. The pieces are simple but amazingly classy and refreshing when put together. My question is - does fabric make a big difference in this look? If I copy the pieces but in regular, cheap stretch cotton, would I look horrible? I guess I won't know until I try...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:41 AM) :

she is really beautiful.Remains me french actress Audrey Tatou. Salutes from Czech republic, You are great!!!

Blogger Genuine Lustre said ... (9:27 AM) :

I love her hair - it's loose and undone - she looks confident and pretty. I'm tired of goth and serious.

Blogger Alice Olive said ... (10:08 AM) :

So vivacious! Love this!

Blogger la femme said ... (12:09 PM) :

Very Marni. I wish more people smiled in photos like that. Lovely :)

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:33 PM) :

It seems going by the comments that many don't realise she's dressed head to toe in Marni ... It's not chic vintage finds ... It's MARNI! That's the labels style ... & if you've got a few thousand $$$ spare then it can be your style too ...

Blogger zuccotto said ... (8:06 PM) :

The toe in stance again. And, I gather it is morphing to "the stance".

I see it as child-izing the person standing, often sophisticated otherwise.

In the meantime, the lovely and vibrant Marni lady lilts, except for the toe routine.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (5:26 AM) :

I love Marni jewellry !
I hate gold and diamonds !

Blogger hoi polloi said ... (12:48 PM) :

There's something earthy and literary about this ensemble.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (6:59 AM) :

fun!

Blogger kristin said ... (8:35 AM) :

LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY!!!!

My fave in quite some time. Original but not trying too hard; just fantastic. The kind of magnetic person everyone turns to stare at when she passes by.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:48 PM) :

Simple and beautiful! Another example of how details, that work together, make a simple outfit shine.
The dress and cardigan taken separately don't look particularly exciting, but the shoes, necklace and those socks, pull the look together. Beautiful!

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:59 PM) :

brilliantly put together
