That is one classy-looking set of people, but somehow I'm most in love with the dogs.

People those days really knew how to dress.

Note, please, the...maturity of those pictured.

Positing sexual attractiveness post one's 20s, and in an advertising medium yet, is a welcome manoeuvre to this viewer. And I still have all my teeth.

(Well....)

fantastic images!!!
is that Yasmin Le bon in the bottom pic???

Sart, these are gorgeous shots. Have you seen the Gucci by Gucci book with the shot of the Gucci family and stars of yore (Sophia Loren, Peter Sellers, Rod Stewart, Elizabeth Taylor) in early-day pap shots wearing iconic Gucci clothes? These shots kind of remind me of those; a really evocative look at the glamorous old days, when people actually dressed up in every day life and even to travel on planes. *sigh* It all seems so impossibly romantic...

This is where the line is crossed between mere "fashion photography" and true art. These are gorgeous. (But then I've always preferred B&W imagery.)

Elliott Erwitt is one of my favourite photographers. Gorgeous photographs...esp. the last one.

Photo #2. The dogs have scarves!! I think I stand by my comment -- when in doubt---

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (10:57 PM) :

Anastastia, That surely is Yasmin LeBon!!! She still looks fabulous, whereas poor Simon hasn't fared as well.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:36 AM) :

i love it.

Thank the gods for Italian style...in everything.

"If the woman were also of their age; and, if she were integrated into the congenial group..."
I could not agree more. The stereotype of older men and a young lady is too old and contrived. Can you imagine a lady like Marella Agnelli in her place? Now THAT would be trully art.
I think the model is Shalom Harlow-someone asked if she was Yasmin, she most certainly is not.

I cant find these on the Luviano Barbera website. Anybody please got the link?

These are beautiful photos of beautiful people. Natural grace.

timeless and elegant class

and so perfect in black and white.
