Oh. . . I like. The volume here is just right.

Does anyone know where her boots are from? Also, any suggestion for a store in NYC that has a good selection of ankle boots?

my feet are killing me just looking at those boots. whoever said that a 4" stacked heel is more comfortable than a 4" spiked heel was trying to sell something with a 4" stacked heel.

Can someone please explain the attraction of the ankle boot worn with a skirt or non-full length pants, other than that we've been told that it's in style at the moment? To me, the boots make one's ankles and lower leg look thin at the expense of the rest of the body. But I'm happy to be educated ;)

Ah yes, a woman who knows what to do with the trapeze. Fantastic.

I love her boots. And that's from someone who vowed not to jump on the ankle boot trend, having worn them when I was 10. As everyone has said, she got the volume & shapes just right.

those are Balenciaga ankle boots. You can find them on US Ebay for like $200 brand new!

Dear Ang.
Here's one answer:
For those of us Middle Eastern or other ethnicity girls who lack those European genes for long, thin, legs, it's a wonderful trend.
Basically, because I have thick ankles, knees, and legs, and no amount of gym/weight loss would ever get rid of them.
I was tortured at middle school because of my ankles, and these fashions are a blessing.
Skirts, mini skirts, all those are out of the question (unless I wear super high heels). Ankle boots help a lot.
I really think great legs are the best fashion accessory- ankle boots are the best way to fake them.
Hopefully, this trend will stick...

Here's a perfect example of someone who can wear volume, not like the girl above who looks disastrous!!

The Eiffel-tower heels don't look too confortable! But I really like (to look at it, NOT wear it) anyway. The colors and the prportions make it interesting. It's subtle, yet noticabe.

Ladies, ladies, ladies, lest we ruin an otherwise super marvie look, let us remember, and repeat to ourselves three times a day: the shorter the hemline, the lower the heels must be; the longer the hemline, the higher the heels can be. Otherwise, we run the risk of looking goofy (as in this case), or, ahem, like a "good-time" girl.
