nice jeans! are they from tsubi?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (9:48 AM) :

tsubi jeans.

What is it you like about this outfit? I live out in Jersey, and I see the striped tunic / skinny jeans /wedges combo on just about every teenage girl at every mall--and other than the distinctive Tsubi stitching, I don't see any design elements or attitude in this girl's outfit that makes it different from the typical mallrat.

Great look! Lovely jeans. Something I noticed in this blog...it seems that women in New York are either one of 2 things: tall, young and slim, or models (the tall, young, slim, AND GORGEOUS).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:53 PM) :

the shoes!

to 1:59 pm

if you took the time to look at the archives you would find a nice cross section of women

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:47 PM) :

it'll be interesting to see whos still wearing skinny pants when lindsay lohan stops.

Hey - I've been a coming over to these pages regularly to get tips on fashions "off the streets" so to speak.

Great job! :-) Greets from Down Under.

I am beginning to see a lot of tsubis overseas now, they have become very popular.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:07 AM) :

i don't think the sartorialist should feel pressured to cover non-tall-young-slim people or any other type of people..

this is HIS blog, and he can post whatever he wants, even if that was pictures of stick-skinny models. but he covers a nice cross-section of women, not because he has to but because he chooses to!

it just bugs me when i see people dictating ts what to post (i don't mean 1:59PM particularly) as if they have every right to complain.

Blogger la femme said ... (12:09 AM) :

She looks stunning- it's all in her posture and presence (and slim lines!).

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (12:37 AM) :

Lindsay...or rather Zoe, has stopped with the skinny legs. And Tsubi, grand masters of jeans, Aussie Style are now doing wide legged, 70s style jeans. Tsubification is set to continue :D

i agree with angeline.

i live in the east village and this look is so played out. i appreciate the tsubi jeans, but everyong and their mother is doing the skinny jean, tunic and wedge this season.

it's just kind of boring is all...

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (11:43 AM) :

what are those weird plus signs in white on her left pant leg?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:20 PM) :

She's beautiful and I like the jeans and shoes, but this type of top makes a girl look pregnant IMO and is not flattering.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (2:39 PM) :

Mr. S., yes, there is a "nice cross section of women."

She is so pretty and this is a flattering outfit for her. I like the little clutch purse - it just looks so ladylike.

Blogger Frida said ... (5:48 PM) :

anonymous #3: oh come on, European girls have been wearing skinny pants for two years now, Lindsay Lohan has not much to do with it. I'd much rather credit Kate Moss and Sienna Miller.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:13 AM) :

from 1:59--My goodness, this is the problem with typing in comments...it was just an observation, I wasn't complaining or criticising. It was meant to be a compliment to NYC women. I love the blog. I apologise to the Sartorialist.

Skinny jeans are wonderful, no matter what people say. And yes, women in Europe have been wearing them for years.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (4:50 PM) :

she looks gorgeous, she pulls the look perfectly

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (7:48 PM) :

her hair is fantastic.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (1:11 AM) :

what a pretty face. she is a deadringer of maggie q. the actress in mission impossible 3.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (3:21 AM) :

what are those weird plus signs in white on her left pant leg?

That is the Tsubi logo. It's on all Tsubi jeans.

Though you guys will now know them as Ksubis. The pronunciation is not different.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (8:54 PM) :

tsubi jeans - to be worn tight. they look a little funny this baggy on legs.
